Abstract: The Pinglu Canal is a key infrastructure project of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, bearing national strategic significance and playing a crucial role in optimizing the pattern of Western China’s development. Leveraging the Pinglu Canal's role as a driving force for the Western Land-Sea New Corridor is of great importance to enhancing the overall efficiency of the corridor. It is essential to focus on the contemporary, systematic, and practical nature of the project, maintaining high standards and quality in the construction of the Pinglu Canal. Efforts should be made to further explore its strategic value, improve the Southwest waterway system driven by the Pinglu Canal, and strategically plan for the canal's capacity expansion and upgrades. By relying on intelligent technologies to optimize logistics and transportation, the organization and scheduling mechanisms of logistics in the Western Land-Sea New Corridor should be improved. This will facilitate the development of domestic and international logistics transport systems and align related rules, promoting high-quality development in the regions along the route and enhancing the role of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor as a key support and guiding force in the new development framework.
