Fathoming method by satellite remote sensing for the Yangtze River estuary water body

Based on the analyses of the theoretical models of the fathoming method by using satellite remote sensing, a subdivision model for remote sensing of water depth in the Yangtze River estuary is established considering the characteristics of water and sediment. And the corresponding process of the digital image is also presented. The remote sensing bathymetric chart agrees well with the measured one.
