Abstract: The article, proceeding from the practical operation of the sluice, advances the coned)t of tile sluice aging diseases and introduces the methods of structural estimation ofsluices with selecting factors, estimating index, means and steps. It also analysed the affecting factors of the aging diseases through four aspects: time, nature, design and constrtrction and management. The article gives a comprehensive summarization of the statusquo of the aging diseases of the sluices in Henan Province.
