Abstract: A processing system for hydrological field data in the estuary and coast is developed by use of Visual Basic 6.0 application program, Microsoft Access database and Fortran program. The system has the function of hydrological field data reorganization, and tidal harmonic analysis as well as predication by using component tide optimization. Its calculation work is less and predication accuracy higher than other systems' .
