Numerical simulation of flow field over an overflow weir with VOF method

  • 摘要: 采用流体体积函数处理水气交界面,并与标准的k-ε二方程紊流模型耦合模拟了溢流堰上的流场.计算的溢流堰上压力分布和流速,均与物理模型试验的测量结果较为吻合.

     

    Abstract: The flow field over an overflow weir is simulated by coupling the volume of fluid ( VOF) method to deal with the interface between water and gas and by use of two equations of k-e turbulence model. The pressure distribution over an overflow weir and the velocity are calculated, and calculation results are in good agreement with those measured in the physical model.
