Experimental study on hydraulic character of asphaltic sands and its application

  • 摘要: 新型轻质模型沙—沥青沙已成功用于长江口深水航道工程泥沙模型。本文通过试验,研究了沥青沙的沉降速度和起动流速,提出了沥青沙起动流速经验计算式和其适用的沉速计算公式。

     

    Abstract: A new light model sand-asphaltic sand was used in the Yangtze river estuary sediment model,the applied result is successful. In this paper,threshold motion velocity and settling velocity of asphaltic sands were studied by experiment. The empirical formula of incipient motion for asphaltic sands is presented,it also studied how to calculate the settling velocity of asphaltic sands.
