Abstract:
The turbulent structure of a sediment - laden flow is of high complicated feature and has been attracting attentions of many researchers in the world. The essentials are based on the nonlinear interaction between liquid - phase and solid - phase also among particles.The turbulent structure of clear flow is of fundamental importance, some typical approaches, ie. the statistical theory, the semi - empirical, the coherent structure and the stochastic theory, are systematized in detail. The conventional approaches of the turbulent structure of the sediment - laden flow may be divided as two different ways.The two approaches mentioned above and their important statements and results are also discussed in this article.
