Abstract:
In recent years, eccentric pivot radial gates are used at home and abroad for improving the sealing effect in high head radial gates, however, there exists special hydrodynamic functions. In this paper, combined with practical projects, the eccentric pivot is simulated for the first time in model and its special hydrodynamic loads are measured. Structural dynamic characteristics is obtained by a synthetic method of experimental modal analysis and numerical modelling. The mathematical model is established and the numerical models are being perfected. Dynamic optimization designs are carried out by sensitivity analysis and finite element dynamic modification. The optimum design are proved to be with rational structure and strengthened vibration resistance by emulation calculation, no excessive gate vibration will occur in normal operating conditions.
