Abstract: The basic equations describing unsteady flow in lock manifold are derived, in which various hydraulic loss and inertia head of culvert and ports are included. A numerical iteration method for solution of the basic equations is developed. The results show that the iteration procedure is steady and its convergence is fast. Comparing with the laboratory data, the calculated value is in agreement with the observed.
