Abstract:
On cavitation and cavitation erosion test stand, slit cavitation flow tests in a 1:1 slice model of the top seal of eccentric-hinge radial gate installed at the flushing tunnel of Xiaolangdi hydro-junction on Huanghe River were carried out. Cavitation and cavitation erosion features which may be occured under clear and silting water conditions in prototype were measured directly. At the same time, analysed the influences of silting water upon cavitation, analytic results revealed that the noise spectra of silting water is higher than that of the clear water, the intensity of cavitation erosion of silting water greater than claer water, also both increase along with the raise of the concentration of silting water.
