Abstract: This paper presents a method of rating deterioration for a sluice with the way of fuzzysets theory. At first,dlvide a sluice into several parts, and for each index of dependencyabout safety adaptability and endurance for each parts calculated the degree of membership. Secondly,rate the deterioration degree of a whole sluice using the method of systemsynthesis. Almost all of data are got from practical detection,and regard the standard in effect as the norm of single index rating. So it has a precise rating result and is more comparable.
