Abstract: Seepage characteristics of concrete face dams, especially after the joint seal between the face and the base plate of the high wave wall is torn, are analyzed and studied in this paper. The methods to analyze the seepage of concrete face dams are also presented, which may be helpful for designing concrete face dams in future.
