Abstract: Influences of the regulation work on dynamic sedimentation in Jiaojiang Estuary, Zhejiang province, are analyzed based on measured hydro data. Analyses show that the regulation work will increase the spring and neap rates, and the flood and ebb tidal sediment concentrations. The rate and sediment concentration of the ebb tide is larger than that of the flood tide. Accordingly, the south channel will be deepened due to scouring and the shoals in the north channel will be developed as a result of silting.
