Abstract:
Considering the corrosion condition of the saline pool in which the reinforced concrete foundation of a transmission line of a seaside nuclear power station sits, corrosion experiments for slag concrete and ordinary Portland concrete in high-concentration salty solution are designed. Test results show that the anti-permeability of chloride ion of the slag concrete is higher than that of the ordinary concrete. So, the slag concrete can delay the time when the reinforcing bar starts to corrode, and can reduce the corrosion rate of the reinforcing bar.
