Abstract: The generating and controlling system of the upstream runoff, downstream tidal current and rotational flow in the physical model test for the Yangtze River Estuary deep channel training project is introduced. The corresponding equipment and self-developed gauges in the system, such as water level metre, topography metre, velocity metre and sediment metre, and performance indexes are briefly introduced.
